About Miwa Sake Brewery
Founded in 1837. The first generation Tokujiro started a sake brewing business in Funamachi, Ogaki City after serving the Hibi family in Sawada, Yoro Town from what is now Taramatsunoki, Kamiishizu Town, Yoro District, Gifu Prefecture.
The brewery has since been passed down to the second generation, Yoshihira the second, Tokujiro the third, Tokusaburo the fourth, Hiroyoshi the fifth, Haruo the sixth, Takashi the seventh, and finally the eighth generation.
