Aotsuka Kofun (Aotsuka Tomb Historic Site Park)
One of the largest keyhole-shaped tumuli in the Tokai area
Aotsuka Tumulus is a keyhole-shaped tumulus with a length of 123m and a height of approximately 12m. It is one of the largest in the Tokai area, and was designated as a national historic site in 1983. It is also called “Aotsuka Fort” because it was used as a fort by Hideyoshi’s camp during the Battle of Komaki-Nagakute in 1584.
