Exactly! This is the best place to savor Hida beef, one of the finest meats in the world. Compared to Kobe or Matsusaka beef, Hida beef has a sweet accent that pairs perfectly with sukiyaki and is also delicious raw—my personal favorite way to eat it.

The locals are incredibly friendly and welcoming, even if they can’t understand you. If you’re a steak and red meat enthusiast, this is a place you CAN’T miss.
